Vegan cleaning during Covid-19

Having been vegan for a few years now, I’ve gotten to grips with which cleaning brands are completely cruelty free and vegan and actually work well. I have my favourites, which so far are Fabulosa disinfectants and Astonish for EVERYTHING else!

Im used to being able to pick these up from Home Bargains or The Range, here in the UK, but since the lockdown, I havent been able to visit as many different stores (some just haven’t been open and I’ve been trying to limit my shopping time).

Thankfully a friend advised that the shopping centre not too far from me houses a Home Bargains and supermarkets so I was finally able to top up my supplies for both of my favourite brands in one visit.

In the past few weeks I have relied on other vegan friendly finds, like Co-op’s washing powder and bathroom cleaner. I was very pleased with their performance and they smelled great too! Also very reasonably priced. *Note sadly that not all Co-ops cleaning products are vegan friendly......yet!

Ive also been using Tesco’s own brand washing up liquids as they are not tested on animals and contain no animal derived ingredients.

With Covid-19 needing to be eradicated from surfaces, I have heavily relied on Fabulosa and Zaflora (when I could not get hold of Fabulosa). They kill 99.9% of germs and can be watered down and used in many different ways.

Fabulosa spray bottles can also be re-used. So far I have one I use for home made window cleaning solution, one for my garden furniture cleaning, one for my plant misting and another for spritzing clothes before ironing. If you do buy the spray bottles, please try and re-use them. You can refill them with more concentrated solutions watered down and make 5 lots from one smaller bottle of zaflora or Fabulosa 💚
