If you’ve never attempted to make your own truffles before, don’t be intimidated- it’s really easy. The basic combination should be a good quality cocoa bean chocolate combined with cream.
I used the following ingredients:
(I made a huge batch of around 25 truffles so you can cut the ingredients to your desired amount - just keep the ratios the same)
400g dark vegan cocoa buttons 70% pure cocoa 6 tablespoons of Biscoff smooth spread
1 full carton of Elmlea dairy free double cream
1.5 teaspoons of caramel flavouring
Cadbury’s hot chocolate powder (enough for covering the truffles)
1 small bag of dairy free white chocolate buttons
3 small bars of dairy free milk chocolate
So here we go.....
In my fridge it took about an hour, but it could take longer.
You can do as you wish when creating your own truffles. Be creative and have fun! My favourites were the truffles just slightly covered in chocolate!
Please note this recipe made a huge batch of around 25 truffles so you may wish to half the recipe 💚
